Rick has previously been involved with Leeds United Ladies, prior to the creation of the Women’s Super League. He initially took over the manager job in 2007, going on to win the club’s first major trophy, the Premier League Cup as well as picking up Manager of the Year at the end of the season.

Since then he has continued to be involved in Leeds United Football Club, including having the chance to manage the reserves and U-18 academy sides in the transitional period between the men’s senior managers Simon Grayson and Neil Warnock.

Rick took over left Leeds to take over Lincoln Ladies in February 2013, after one season in the FA WSL Rick moved with the club over to Notts County Ladies where he continues to manage the team.
